Yukata roll

Yukata is made out of 1 roll of cloth (36 cm wide, 1140 - 1200 cm long) cut into required pieces of cloth, as shown in the figure, and then constructed by stitching together each piece.
In recent years, rolls for men's kimono with a width of 38 to 40 cm, called king size, are also common.
Besides 2 pieces of "Sode (sleeve)" and "Migoro (bodice)", 1 piece of "Eri (collar)", 2 pieces of "Okumi" (half width of Yukata cloth) are cut out in order to make up for the lack of width for the overlapping on the front and one "Kakeeri" to overlap the collar. |
