 There are temperature adjustable irons and steam irons which can also let out steam.
Those with Wattage of around 1000W is easy to handle.
Choose those with moderate weight for easier handling. Steam irons are also used for preshrinking. Be sure to drain water after each use.

Press strongly to the cloth, but try to slide it lightly when shifting to avoid stretching the cloth.
