6. Ohashori folds

Slide both hands into the Yukata through the side openings, Miyatsuguchi, and settle the Ohashori folds in the front and in the back.

Bring the collar ends together at the front.

Hold them with your right hand, and stand sideways to the mirror.

With your left hand, pull down your Kimono from the back until the collar is about 5cm away from the back of your neck. The back line of the Kimono now looks straight. Shift the collars in the front so that they cover the busts.
