01.Marking of the sleeves


Mark with the fold lines laid on the left side.
Mark the straight section in 15cm ~ 20cm intervals, and the curve of the sleeves throughout the length.
Mark lengthwise first, and then widthwise.
If the spatula markings are difficult to see or the markings are for important sections, mark with thread using basting yarn.

Pattern match cutting and placement marking

Decide on how to match patterns on the katayama, the sodeyama, the back body hem, the upper front bodice, the Okumi and the collar, and attach placement marks.

②Wrist opening(23cm)
③Armhole(21cm)
④Seam allowance under the wrist opening(1.3cm)
⑤Seam allowance of the wrist opening (1.5cm)
⑥Sleeve width + kise(0.2cm)
⑦Marking the edge of the fold line
⑧Curve(2~5cm depending on your taste. Larger curves can look childish.)
