How to sew

10.Hemming the Bottom Edge

After turning out the reverse side of the hem, fold the 2 cm seam allowance in three folds.

Fold the corner of the Tsumasaki *diagonally, and arrange it into a picture frame corner.

Tsumasaki * is the corner where the under collar and the bottom edge meet.
Fold the seam allowance as in diagram ① ~ ④

After applying three stitches to sew the diagonal line in place, one at the hem, one at the under collar and one another at the hem, stitch from inside the picture frame corner, scooping the right side of the hem and the folding seam allowance of the under collar. (Reverse stitch*)

Reverse stitch* You can anchor the kise or seam in place by turning the cloth 180 degrees and scooping one stitch back on the right side of the cloth and seam allowance,.

Fold the bottom edge in three folds and slipstitch at 1 cm interval. Apply a stitch at the edge of the front strip and a reverse stitch at the edge of the kise.

At the edge of each kise, apply a reverse stitch to hold it in place.
