Sewing the Yukata

How to sew

06.Shoulder lining (with horizontal fabric)

Because we use the cloth sideways for shoulder lining and the selvage for the bottom part of the front and back panels, all we need is to sew the ends of the two raw edges on the sides with overlock sewing machine when using horizontal fabric.
Prepare bleached cotton cloth (shoulder width + 2 cm) × 2 in length.

 How to make a slit

Fold the length and width in half, and cut off the neck opening (7.8 cm) and the opening on the front body panel side.

Unfold the shoulder lining cloth and place it on the other side of the body panel. Match the edge of the kise on the body panel and the center back of the shoulder lining cloth and mark with marking pins.
Make a small stitch on the shoulder lining side 0.1 cm above the seam line at 2cm interval.
se white Cotton thread No. 30 for binding as in the case of vertical fabric.

Lay it flat, aligning the raw edges of the neck opening, and baste 0.4 cm outside of the neck opening and both side seams.
